Just as important as belt conveyor controls are the Electric Winch Controls.  These controls can be stand alone or integrated to the Belt Conveyor Controls.  Either style of controller is typically connected via a dedicated Ethernet network to the Belt Controller.  This interconnection can be configured from the HMI touchscreen.

The Electric Winch Controller, complete with HMI controls and diagnostics, includes a pendant station for operator control that plugs into a gear-mounted receptacle, as does  the encoder cable, for fast and easy setup.

Included in the Electric Winch controller is a dynamic braking package for regenerative energy during the winch payout that occurs during conveyor deceleration. 

Other features include trending of belt tension, current alarm status, alarm history, carriage position, and many others.
